Spanish Riding School Bereiter Herwig Radnetter
In 2008, the Iowa Lipizzan Association hosted an amazing clinic with Spanish Riding School Bereiter Herwig Radnetter at our
facility. It was a phenomenal learning experience for both auditors and participants. Mr. Radnetter returned to Iowa for
another clinic in 2009. We hope he will be able to fit Iowa into his busy schedule again for 2010. For more photos and

Jochen Hippenstiel
Gerrit Claes Bierenbroodspot
Claes is a former instructor at the Dutch Instructor School at Deurne, Holland, where he taught for 14 years. For seven of those years, he was the Head Instructor for the graduating classes.
Prior to this, he was the trainer and chef d'equipe of the Dutch National Jr/YR 3-Day Event Team. He has 26 years of experience in teaching beginning levels through Grand Prix.
Claes' experience in the saddle includes dressage, show jumping, and eventing in which he rode internationally. His dressage clinics in the United States (and elsewhere) are extremely
popular and fill quickly without public announcement or promotion. Claes also owns and operates HorseFind Holland, helping riders find talented and athletic horses.

Shellhaven is tentatively planning on hosting  clinics in 2010 with Jochen Hippenstiel. Jochen was a student of dressage
luminaries Harry Boldt, Herbert Rehbein, Willi Schultheis and Klaus Balkenhol before becoming a Reitlehrer FN (Master
Trainer) in his native Germany. Jochen was a two-time German Junior National Champion and competed in the European

Championships in 1992. He has trained horses competing in Olympic and World Cup competitions. In 2005, his students
enjoyed many successes, including regional championship titles and a team gold medal in the prestigious North American
Young Riders Competition.
In October 2009, Jochen won the Region 2 Championships at Intermediare II.
