Stall Barn
Each of out ten stalls has a large
window, heated automatic
waterer and heavy duty rubber
mats. An overhead fly spray
system is activated in the summer
to deter insects. During the winter,
the barn's roof vents are closed
and radiant heat coils located in
the concrete of the aisle way
provide heat The tack room,
bathroom and office are heated as
well. Boarders enjoy full-size
lockable tack lockers and heated
wash stall.

Security cameras are located
throughout the facility. Front entry
gates help ensure safety and
security for horse and rider
.
Indoor Arena
The indoor riding arena is
regulation length (60 meters) and
features a four foot angled kick
board, stereo system and mirrors
on the arena's north, east and west
walls.  
Outdoor Arena
The outdoor riding arena measures 100 x
200 feet and provides a beautiful setting
for schooling. Like the indoor arena, the
footing consists of a sand/ rubber
mixture. Benches are located along the
southern edge of the arena. After
schooling, enjoy a walk on the bridle
path leading around the property.
Turnout
All horses are turned out on a daily basis, weather permitting, in one of our spacious paddocks featuring mesh safety fencing. In the event of bad weather,
horses are exercised in the indoor arena. Options for four to eight hour turnout are available.


The arena footing consists of a sand
rubber mixture providing excellent
traction and cushion. An overhead
sprinkler system ensures the footing
remains dust-free.

on the southern wall of the arena,
next to the heated observation
room.

     Shellhaven Farm features a ten stall barn connected to a regulation length indoor arena, equipment building and hay
storage building. The stall barn has an automated fly spray system, wash stall with hot water, security cameras, large
tack lockers and heated bathroom and office. A scenic bridle path winds around the perimeter of the farm's 47 acres
and connects to an oversized outdoor arena. Each summer, the Johnson family
cuts, rakes, and bales nearly all the
grass hay required for the year, roughly 1250 small square bales.
